On the 2nd October 2024 our Francesco Zampognaro has presented RomARS and the recently closed
INN3SCO project during the ARTES Final Presentation Days (https://connectivity.esa.int/artes-final-presentation-days-2024).
The event at ESA-ECSAT in Harwell (UK) gave us the opportunity to show our work, proudly bringing on stage another great technical and organizational result of RomARS, all its partners and ESA: the INN3SCO project.
INN3ESCO is the basis of the “5G-Fi” solution developed by RomARS for “non-3GPP Access”, i.e. to access 5G networks with both the 5G radio signal and WiFi. This double access to the Core network both via 5G and WiFi is proving to be an extremely flexible and high-performance tool for creating dedicated networks for industrial applications and tactical private networks:
not surprisingly, INN3SCO has generated a lot of interest among participants and it is the basis of many other commercial and R&D developments currently ongoing at RomARS.
So, we want to thank ESA for coordinating the project’s activities and for the opportunity of showing our work and outcomes to the major players of the European Space Industry!
