During his internship in the RomARS company Luca was involved in the development of a platform to instantiate and configure virtual machines to reproduce innovative communication environments to evaluate the performance of network protocols, real applications and innovative architectures. In particular, network components have been envisaged to be virtualized for the emulation of satellite systems, allowing the testing of services on integrated terrestrial-satellite architectures.
